Our People

We only employ trained professionals with extensive experience and expertise in all facets of project management. The experience our people bring includes that from the complementary fields of engineering, property, design, and cost management.

 

Our people have a strong track record in managing projects to meet functional and business requirements, to tight time deadlines and strict budget constraints. We have worked on some of the nation’s most significant projects and our multidisciplinary team provides clients with a broad base of expert knowledge.

Rob Camping
CEO and Managing Director

 

Rob directs the day-to-day activities of the company and provides his services on projects as the initial point of contact. He is a Registered Professional Engineer with over 25 years’ experience (10 years on site) in engineering and building construction projects throughout Australia and overseas. He has well regarded executive skills in all areas of project delivery with a proven record of successful team management.

 

In his working life he has been involved in the successful completion of many large projects, including multi-storey CBD high-rise buildings, extension and refurbishment of shopping centres, large scale public venues and the staging of world class events. Rob was directly responsible for the redevelopment of the Brisbane Cricket Ground.

Owen Harvey
Associate
Senior Project Manager/Project Director

 

Owen has joined PDS to identify, lead and manage specific client project opportunities.

 

He has over 25 years experience in the property and construction industry, most recently as a Senior Project Manager. His professional background includes service with Cadence Australia, CRI, Lambert & Rehbein and GHD, in a variety of roles and projects.

 

Significant projects with which Owen has been recently involved include Building the Education Revolution, Kelvin Grove Urban Village, QUT Creative Industries Precinct and Port Binnli Apartments, Mackay.

Owen has a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) from University of Queensland and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Project Management. He has applied for his QBSA Builder’s Licence in Project Management.

Therese Brockhurst
Senior Project Manager/Project Director

 

Therese has agreed to join PDS to identify, lead and manage specific client opportunities. She has over 15 years experience in the property and construction industry, most recently as a Senior Project Manager.

 

Her professional background includes service with Coffey Projects, Bovis Lend Lease and Wilde and Woollard in a variety of roles as her career progressed.

 

Significant projects with which Therese has been involved include Brisbane Square, Harbour Town Shopping Centre, Action Supermarkets and 1st Topographical Survey Squadron Redevelopment.

 

Therese has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Quantity Surveying and has extended her education with a Master of Project Management (both from QUT). She has acted as Chapter President and National Director for the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) and continues to serve the industry in a variety of ways.

 

Therese is currently on assignment with a senior role in the Nation Building Economic Stimulus Program.
